I’m based in Aiken, SC. I was born raised and spent a good portion of my life in NH and Massachusetts. I can ship to anywhere in the country. So just e-mail me photos and we can go from there. If you are local to my area, come visit our studio, We have many painting to decorate your home with.

My style is semi-realist-to-realistic. I like to catch the essence of the pet and create enough detail for you to know that is "your dog". I pay particular attention to the eyes, so the life, spirit and love of the animal can be seen.

The better the photo, the easier it is for me to re-create your pet on canvas. Photos should be in good light. For head portraits, looking at the camera, with eyes open. Best when on dog's level, not looking down on top of dog's head, Unless of course, it is a great shot of them looking up at you. Best to send me several photos to choose from. I usually crop them to a ratio to best fit the canvas.

The more time the better. Especially around holidays. If you are buying as a gift for a special occasion, allow 4-8 weeks, in case I have others I am working on.

YES! I also create colorful landscape, many from SC Low Country. I most recently find I enjoy the challenge of painting ordinary scenes with bold, vibrant and rich colors. I am constantly inspired by the beauty and complexity of nature and strive to capture it through my art.

My husband was the original artist in the family. He creates original beautiful paintings in oil and watercolor. He paints many paintings from all our travels to Europe.
